Goals for the day:
The first goal is to give everyone the basic understanding of linoblock printmaking from beginning sketches to transferring the image to carving. Finally, we will be inking the blocks and using the printing press. The second goal will be to demonstrate how printmaking can be done at home without the use of a printing press. Participants should bring a sketch that will be transferred onto a 4”x 6” block either, landscape of portrait configuration.
