​Beginning in Spring 2026, The Abbey Foundation will begin to offer workshops led by local artists. There are few outlets in Anderson Valley for it's community to explore the arts under the instruction and guidance of a professional artist. Artists can propose a one or 2 day workshop in most media and all skill levels but the foundation encourages proposals for introductory level workshops to make them more accessible to all. The workshops will be held in the studio at the foundation and can accommodate a maximum of 8 participants. This number allows for more interaction between the instructing artist and each participant.

We invite artists from all over to propose a workshop. The artist will be responsible for their travel and accommodations as the Abbey Foundation does not provide either. There are several lodging options available in Anderson Valley and Ukiah. If you are a visual artist interested in proposing a workshop, please contact the foundation via email.
